Kids Empire coming to Great Northern Mall in North Olmsted

Families can explore and enjoy active play at Kids Empire at Great Northern Mall, according to a news release.

Opening Spring 2024, this 14,800-square-foot children’s entertainment center will feature mazes, slides, creative building games, play structures, drop-in ball pits, a dedicated dance room and more, the release said.

The venue offers a “screen-less” environment with activities for youngsters of all ages, plus a dedicated toddler area, according to the release.

The indoor playground will be open year-round during mall hours.

“This is a very exciting addition for Great Northern and the greater Cleveland region,” said Dan Crandall, marketing and business development manager at Great Northern Mall, in the release. “Of all the ways to shop, dine and play at Great Northern, this unique new entertainment destination is yet another reason to visit all throughout the year, extend your stay and provide kids with a fun new way to stay active.”

Kids Empire North Olmsted also will offer birthday packages, so families can host customizable parties with a large number of guests, according to the release.

A highlight of these celebrations is an appearance by the lovable dragon mascot, Huggy, who welcomes children with open arms, the release said.

“As we expand Kids Empire into Ohio, we knew right away that Great Northern Mall had to be one of our first locations,” said Blandine Elbaz, co-founder and co-owner of Kids Empire, in the release. “From its desirable tenant mix, thoughtfully appointed amenities as well as a robust calendar of activities and special events, this center is perfectly positioned for year-round family fun.”

Kids Empire will be located near Finish Line and Shoe Dept., across from Tuxedo Junction.
